- NOTE: If press any button on remote (except SET button) that flashes “red” three times, it indicates auto-sensing state, which is in energy saving mode
Attention:
Q:Why can't the light come on automatically at night even after setting the light sensor mode?
A: If the pool light is fully runs out of power, after recharged (USB cable or sun charging) you need to press the on/off button to turn on the light and reset the light sensor mode.

Q:How to check the charging status of the light?
A1:When the light is in charging state, the red light will keep flashing.
A2:When the light is fully charged, the red light will always be on.
Q:Why doesn't the light respond when the remote control is pressed several times?
A1:Maybe the pool light is not on, long press the switch for 2 seconds to activate it, it will automatically light up the red light, after that you can have normal light control. We recommend that you turn off the pool light when not in use (long press the switch for 2 seconds to turn off)
A2:It may be that the battery of the remote control is dead, press any button of the remote control, if the small light at the top of the remote control is on, it means the remote control is working normally. Otherwise, please replace the batteries with new ones 1x CR2052.
Q:Why can't I charge my pool floating light?
A:You can charge it with original/other USB-A to USB-C charging cable 5V/2A.

I ordered these 2 in 1 solar lights as a gift for our neighbors who always invite our family to swim in their pool over the summer and I ordered this set in particular because they are can be charged by both solar and a USB cord, similar lights only have the solar option. The other reason I ordered these is because you can change the color to one of 7 different lights and 6 different modes using the included remote. Lastly, they have a 2 in 1 use, you can use them to distribute chlorine or you can just use them to add some color and ambiance to your pool and outdoor space.My neighbor hasn’t opened her pool yet so we haven’t had a chance to try them in an open space but we did try them in the bathtub. They required some charging beforehand because they obviously weren’t exposed to sunlight in the box. We charged them for 6 hours with the included USB cord and they operated perfectly in the water. The reflection is so pretty and with two floaters the variation in color will be so pretty. You can also use these lights if you don’t have a pool, for instance you could use them as outdoor lights or lighting at a party. We were going to test them in our hot tub but the instructions said to avoid hot water; however, the description states they can be used in a hot tub.These floater lights are so pretty and they are made of a very durable plastic but the price point does seems a little high since solar lights are now less expensive than a few years ago but I think the price is reflective of the additional features, there is the USB option for charging in addition to the solar option and you also have a remote to control the colors, many other chlorine floats just rotate between a few colors. Lastly, these are very well made and good quality, we had no problems with the function or operation out of the box. I think our neighbors are really going to like this gift, I don’t think they would buy them for themselves so these colorful floats will be a nice surprise.

If you are mainly going for a light these work great as for a chlorine floater they are a bit of a pain.-They came in very well packaged and in perfect shape.-The materials seem good quality and they look well made.-The solar charging feature works fine. The light features work as intended and are neat.-The chlorine feature is not awesome. The bottoms catch like crazy and don’t want to come off to load a tab. When/if you do get them off they are very finicky about going back on and staying. The slots are only in one spot and are tight to change. Getting it on “high” flow without unlocking it and popping it open/off is a pain. Even on high they do not dispense enough chlorine as the dozen others we have used over the years. You will need two of these on high to dispense the same as one other one on medium.So if you are ok with all that they are fine but honestly I am going to look for something more user friendly for my chlorine tabs. Luckily we switched to a copper Solar Pool Ionizer and need a lot less chlorine anyway.
