Do not buy. Mercury tube glue failed sometime before I recieved unit and was unusable before opening. Seller will not replace or recieve return. Yes that my fault for nor read fine print, but its just wrong...

I got this thermometer to replace an alligator one that I used last year. My old one let water up inside and then wouldn’t float upright like it should. So far this one seems much better made and doesn’t let the water in. It’s a little more difficult read than my old one. You have to turn it just right to see the blue line but it’s still not bad. Seems to be pretty accurate as well. I would recommend this thermometer.

This thermometer is accurate, and super cute. It it great quality, and comes with a included tether cord to keep it floating in one spot in your pool. Readability is great for fast checks of the pool temperature. Overall I definitely recommend.

This thermometer is suitable for your pool, hot tub or bath tub. Accuracy wise, it is right on at 75F room temperature. In 105 degree F water (according to a pair of electronic cooking thermometers), it registered 107. It has a fairly narrow viewing angle, but is easy to read indoors or in sunlight when viewed at the correct angle.It's made out of durable plastic and looks like it will survive typical abuse such as drops. It comes with a tether. For the price, I'm not sure how you can beat this item.
