PLEASE DO NOT FEED HONEY TO HUMMINGBIRDS.The instructions are wrong, only feed hummingbirds a nectar made from one part plain refined white sugar to four parts water. That means for two cups of water, you add one half-cup of sugar.HONEY WILL KILL THE BIRDS.

I love this idea. We have a couple pairs that visit the hummingbird feeder at the cabin and these will be an excellent activity for the kids to quietly sit with these trying to get the hummingbirds to come to there fingers. We filled them with some sugar water from our home feeders and they work great, although we rarely get birds at home other than orioles. The silicone is soft and colors are right for attracting the attention of the birds. We won't be back north for a month so will update on how it goes.

These inexpensive little colorful rings look exactly like my hummingbird feeder, so I’m pretty optimistic that they’ll work if I use them near my feeder at first. After trying for a few minutes yesterday, I got distracted by bees in the yard and texts in my phone, so I can’t blame the rings! They’ll definitely help with mindfulness, because I’ll need to just be still and sit with nature and my own thoughts while I wait for the hummingbirds to trust me.
