Overall these are good molds, but deducted a start due to the rose having a small hole in the middle of the design. It might have been an air bubble at the time the mold was made, not sure. The small hole just makes it difficult to clean since it goes into the mold below the rose design. It did not poke all the way through the mold. I purchased these to make cream cheese mints reminiscent of my childhood. The molds are quite similar to those my mother had used.

My old rose mold (the yellow one in the picture) which is identical to my grandmother’s (probably from the 1960’s) is slightly smaller in diameter than this new one, by 1/8 of an inch. This new rose mold also produces a mint which is about 1 mm taller. The definition is much clearer, which accounts for the two roses pictures used about the same amount of dough. As for the set, the mint leaf is measure only 1/4 inch high and I believe may be difficult to handle for some guests to handle. I can move it around a tray, but it definitely requires a lighter touch. The daisy required a bit more dough than the rose, while the maple leaf required almost 1 1/2 times the amount of dough as the rose. The maple leaf measures 1/2” tall, while the rose measures 3/8” tall.

These worked great.. for anyone who hasn't used these before just make sure your product, I made cream cheese mints using my own recipe is dry enough... otherwise you will struggle with them coming out or not having the details of the mold. You won't hurt or dry out the mints by adding more powder sugar.
