I even googled how to keep the two pieces together and nothing worked. I did end up using the front mold and laid it on a plate. Kind of disappointing tho.

The mold in not level. You have to play around to try and level it. It sags in the middle could not get it level. Couldn't get one even pour. Frustrating. I gave up.

So, my wife was unable to find butter lambs for Easter this year and out of the "blue" a month and a half later decided I was going to find her a way to make them next year. Apparently this tradition loss has been felt by many according to other reviews. For $8 bucks, the tradition will live on in my house. Room temperature butter and patience is the key to successful use.
