This is the first time I've used fly boots, so I don't have anything to compare to. That being said, these work great. They are easy to put on and keep the flies off. The velcro is very strong and durable. They really stay on well. As far as size, they fit my 15h quarter horse great. I leave them on his back legs when we ride in the arena and they stay on and don't seem to bother him at all. Overall a good product!
