This purchase was a disappointment. 2 pairs of boots did both stand up, one ripped the first night. I could not return them because I purchased in April while there were no flies. Poor fit and poor value.

I first bought one pair to test and it passed, so one week later, I bought another pair. I have a QH mare with average legs and they were a little too big but pulling the Velcro almost all the way over, they fit decent.They have been put on daily during the day, they were taken off overnight. After not quite 3 months, they have frayed in several areas and the plastic material has softened to the point where the boots keep sliding down. The wrinkles create a dent in the skin and I have now stopped using them.In summary, they are good for using them for a couple of months and do their job well.

I have used this brand before and never had a problem. They do eventually tear and wear out but my horse are out 24/7 running and rolling so this is expected. I would but again.

These are great physical barriers to keep flies away. They’ve worked wonders for my OTTB gelding that stomps from flies, and therefore breaks up his hooves. However, this pair, the mesh is ripping at the seams. I have an orange pair that I bought from Horse.com that I’ve had even longer with no tears or anything. Still would highly recommend. However, they do get wet and stay wet if exposed to water/rain, so you may have to leave them off a couple of days here or there to let them dry out.

These fly boots fit my 16.2 big boned gelding perfectly. I leave them on all day with no problems and they stay on.

Nice looking and appeared to be of sturdy construction. They do slip down a little but still stay in place and give good protection. However having been in use for less than a month, the mesh on one boot has ripped in two place. I bought 2 pairs i.e. a full set. Very disappointing indeed.
