I ordered something else and got this. Will be sending it back but figured I would submit a review anyway. Looks like a well made reel. Tolerances look good. I have had similar reels where the line could slip behind the spool and jam. This is not an issue with this reel. The extra spool changes easily. My only beef would be that it doesn't appear to hold much line. Good deal for $40.

Works fine, easy to switch sides, swap spare. At price, it is a good deal. Just need a bag to hold spare.

I was looking for a reasonable priced reel and additional spool when I discovered this item. I know the old saying "You get what you pay for" and I decided to take a chance and when I received this item I was well pleased on my decision to buy what I would compare to an Okuma reel, a friend of mine owns. He had to buy a spare spool seperately for more than my reel and spare spool cost together. The aluminumn cast reel is well built and can be converted easily from right to left hand cranking.It has a smooth dial disc drag and spool exchange is quick and easy. I like the fact that the reel gives me more flexibility when on the lake or from going to a small creek to a large river and all I have to do is decide what spool I may choose to use based on conditions.
