I've been dealing with and invasion of fungus gnats, and this thing has been a huge help in my battle with them. When I first got this thing, I tried to use the sticky pads that came with it, but they weren't sticky at all, the fungus gnats would land on top, be stuck for a second and then fly away. The only reason I'm giving it a higher rating is because I found a way to use is without the sticky pads. All you have to do is put a couple of squirts of dish soap in the little tray at the bottom where the sticky pads would normally go, fill it with water and the flies will drown in the bottom, plus you don't have to buy new sticky pads so in the end you save money. I do have to refill the water level every day since I think the fan evaporates the water quicker than normal, but other than that it's a great product.

Product arrived quickly, and came with clear/simple instructions. I'm very bappy with how well it works. The first one caught a lot for a couple weeks, then slowed down a bit ad it got things under control. We now use one in each bedroom and our basement. Keeping them going prevents major issues with moths/mosquitos in our home. Would highly recommend.

This trap does not work at all. I watched house flies and fruit flies sit directly under the light over the fan with no threat of being sucked in. I swatted at them, they flew off came right back landed, and sat there.

Have 2 of these had one for 2 years fan starting to rattle but still works. Just bought the second one. This design is superior to several others because the end of the “wind tunnel” is only about 1/2” from the sticky cardboard so the gnats get thrown onto the card and get stuck. Two other brands I tried the end is 2-3” away so the gnats usually don’t get stuck and just fly right back out the bottom vent.

Very sticky, but the fan is not very strong so it doesn’t pull in very many bugs
