Let heat up for 1 &1/2 hours would not cut foam.

Heats up for about 10 seconds then shuts off. Every time. Has to be unplugged and re-plugged. Useless. Presumably the power supply is overloading or something because the indicator light on it goes from solid to flashing every time. Do not buy. I did because it was the only one that had a decent ship time and I didn’t want to wait a month. Now I have to decide whether to return or splice in a different power supply that I have on hand. I imagine the wand itself is not the problem (it’s the simplest thing imaginable), but the power supply.

At first it wasn’t heating up so I wasn’t happy with it. Decided to play with it & found that if the plug isn’t securely in the outlet the wire cutter doesn’t heat up. Now that I’ve learned this, it even cuts the smooth styrofoam balls...thank goodness!

This product printed insert that came in the box with the item, is not the same as what is described on listed item. Aside from the product not working, it states this item will only cut low density foam. This is not stated on the listing. The insert also says "it does not work more than 30 minutes at time; 2-3 hours a day". It also says "A long stay, please disconnect the power transformer.... also not stated in the item listing description.

Its just like in the add I have not used it you but i'm sure it with work as good as it looks
