Self-stick neoprene sheet is really handy for a variety of uses. I’ve bought small square sheets before but needed something a little bigger so these 54 inch long sheets looked attractive.These sheets are made from a good, dense neoprene material, like a thin wet suit. The surface also has a somewhat shiny wet suit-like appearance. I tried a little of the self-stick and it stuck firmly on a piece of metal. Overall, the sheet will do the job.I am knocking off two stars from my review for two reasons. One is that the Amazon product page says this is ½ inch thick in some places and 1/8 inch in others. I expected 1/8 inch and that’s what I got. But the seller really needs to clarify the description. A second reason for deducting a star is that the outer layers of the rolled up sheet are compressed from being rolled. The material has been squeezed down to only about 1/16 inch thickness. Hopefully, it will expand back to 1/8 inch over time. Rolling the sheets up also made the appearance of the surface a little inconsistent and I’m hoping that clears up over time too.
