Got this reformer to replace a smaller, more compact machine to accommodate my 5’9 height. As implied in the description this may not be suitable for anyone over 5’9. It’s JUST comfortable enough for me. It’s extremely heavy and cumbersome to fold and unfold for use but it really is decent quality for at home use. At least so far. been about a month so far, and it’s very smooth and quiet to use. I’m disappointed that it’s not real oak as noted in the listing, but it seems durable for the price.

This reformer is great! I was a bit hesitant to buy since there weren’t any picture reviews, but it was a great investment. It was a little challenging to put together by myself, but I’m sure it would’ve been easier with a second person. The footbar is really sturdy and easy to adjust. Springs carry a lot of resistance, which is great. The carriage rolls smooth on the railing. I’m 5’8, and it’s the perfect length for me. As a Pilates instructor in training, this is the perfect reformer to use for practice and instructor hours. I could also see this as a great reformer for a Pilates studio as well.
