As someone who loves and is a bit obsessed with dragons I was originally going to get this for myself ( I plan on still getting myself one). I ordered this for my sons girlfriend who is in college. I got this so instead of having to reach over and turn off a light she can just close the book. You can see by my title that my son isn't a big fan that's because my son said his girlfriend kept opening it to show him and he couldn't sleep. So I guess by that comment it's pretty bright and from what I can tell it's a pretty decent size book. His girlfriend loved it and I plan on buying one myself. My son thought it was a pretty cool design he wished other designs were available and so does my daughter. So if you have a son or a daughter who has a girl/boyfriend that you want to help them annoy your child then this is a good option. If you have a dragon lover or a book lover this is another great option for them.

The quality of this reading lamp is exceptional. When my granddaughter explained what she wanted for her birthday, I was skeptical. It arrived today and it is beautiful, well-constructed, and better than promised. I know she will love it. I purchased the large but I imagine all the sizes have the same lovely workmanship. Definitely recommend.

This book, omg. My husband got me this as a gift and I am just IN LOVE with it. Not only do I love Dragons, but we recently built a library in our home and I needed a little reading light, something for the warm dim atmosphere. This is PERFECT for that, I could do without the purple color it has, but the warm light and the white light, love it.It made me nervous first opening it because of the sound it makes, it sounds like it's ripping, but it's not, the fact that it can stretch ALL the way open and stay that way, amazing. The magnets in it are stronger than I thought they'd be as well. This is well built and just perfectly perfect, I need more of them with different Dragons, and I'd be happy with just the warm light, thank you.

I love the fact that this book lamp has a remote and colors but it talks too much at random times, I'm wondering if it is faulty. Other than that I love it. Not sure if the battery is great though.

It's well made, it's very attractive and the light is stronger than I imagined. My daughter loves dragons and has a lot of different dragon themed office supplies as well as room decor and she LOVED this. It looks great on her desk and when she opens it up to the goldish white light, it's about the same lighting as a small table lamp. The dragon on the front of the "book" is well done too. I would definitely recommend.

Dezent aber hell genug für eine romantische Weihnachts- oder Hintergrundsbeleuchtung beim Essen, Fernsehen oder der Büroarbeit. Es wirkt beim Öffnen geheimnisvoll, als wäre es ein Requisit aus Harry Potter oder der unendlichen Geschichte. Praktisch - im Dunkeln muß man keinen Lichtschalter suchen, sondern nur schnell das Buch aufklappen, schon hat man Licht.Der Umschlag füllt sich stabil und wertig an. Der Drache ist bezaubernd. Er ist Schutz- und Glückssymbol und sorgt für positive Energie, Glück und Freude: Im Osten platziert soll er den Fluß positiver Gesundheitsenergerien anregen. Im Norden beruflichen Erfolg unterstützen. Wichtig dabei - jeweils mit Blick zur Raumesmitte.
