This is a cheaper product, so I don't think anyone would expect it to be made of real carbon fiber. And it isn't. And you can tell if you're really looking at it. But most folks probably don't care, let's be honest. And if you just want to cheaply and quickly add some carbon fiber look to the dash on your car, then this is a fine way to do so. Two parts that stick on (tape already affixed) and meet in the middle behind the screen. Goes on quickly and looks nice.If you think you can handle the fake carbon fiber, then there's no reason not to give this product a shot!

This is a faux carbon fiber trim piece covering the lower air vent on the Tesla Model Y Juniper. Although not mentioned in ad, it fits the Model 3 Highland perfectly. Real carbon fiber trim pieces cost around $200. Although this doesn’t quite match the appearance of real CF, it’s a nice look for the cost. It definitely looks better than the stock grey plastic OEM trim. The product ships in two pieces that join out of sight behind the info display. My only complaint that, when I checked to see if that CF pattern matched at the joint (just curious since you can’t see it), I noticed the weave direction was different on the two pieces. No problem, I thought nobody would notice. However the first friend I showed it to DID notice. Sorry, one star off. Still a reasonably priced alternative to real CF. Recommended for cost.
