It came in a timely manner. It does need batteries for it also. Looks good. Make sure the size of food isnt to big and correct size for it. Was looking for something for daughters cat when she is out of town and to help lessen how much she ate at 1 time. So far everything is good will update.

this is a pretty great timed feeder for dry food. you have to make sure the size of the kibble will fit the feeder - there's a handy size guide on top of the lid - but i like that it doesn't hold so much that the food goes stale or attracts bugs but enough for a long weekend or weeklong trip. i went out of town last weekend for 5 days and even though i had a petsitter coming, i used this to take the pressure off of her about timing and to keep my cat on a dry food schedule. i was able to program it to dispense twice a day, and you can set how many portions you want dispensed. my cat is not a big eater so i just did the one portion and it still stacked up a bit, but i initially had it set for 2 portions and that was way too much. it's not exactly intuitive how to program it so use the provided instructions but it wasn't hard to figure out. you can set multiple times for the food to be dispensed. i like that it came with a little desiccant packet to keep the food fresh (seemed to work). i wish the bowl had some sort of lock to stay in place when you move the feeder - it just sits under the spout in a little groove but doesn't lock into place. i also wish there were feet to make it a little taller off the ground. i use elevated bowls for my cat's other food and water so it was weird for her to eat off basically the ground with this bowl. i also like that you can put 3 D batteries in for a battery backup for if the power goes out or in case you don't have an outlet wherever you need to use it. everything on it worked so i was very pleased, especially at this price point.

This IMIPAW automatic pet feeder had everything I thought I wanted—programmable feedings, easy-to-clean parts, dual power, and even a little desiccant pouch to keep food fresh. And when it worked? It worked great. My cat got fed on schedule and I didn’t have to worry when I wasn’t home.BUT. And it’s a big but... my cat figured out how to knock it over within 24 hours and turned it into her personal snack machine. What I Liked:Programming is easy: Setting meal times and portions was super simple.3-liter capacity: Holds plenty of food, so it’s great for short trips or busy days.Removable parts = easy cleaning: Thank you for that.Keeps food fresh: The desiccant pouch is a nice touch to keep kibble crisp.Dual power supply: Works with batteries or a plug—perfect as a backup in case of outages. What I Didn’t Love:The locking mechanism on the food container? Yeah... not really a lock. My cat pushed it, knocked it over, and suddenly it wasraining kibble in my kitchen. The base could be sturdier or weighted. If your pet is on the chaotic neutral side like mine, they’ll absolutely take advantage.A tighter seal or twist-lock design would fix most of this.Bottom Line:It’s a great concept, and it works—if your pet isn’t a little too smart (or determined). If you’ve got a calm eater, it might be perfect. But if you’ve got a furry little food goblin like I do? Proceed with caution. The feeder was timed. My cat was faster.

I bought this automatic pet feeder to help take care of the stray cats that hang around our property when we go out of town, and honestly—it's been a game changer.Setup was pretty straightforward, and I love that you can schedule up to 6 feeding times and adjust the portion size for each one. That’s super helpful for us since we feed multiple cats throughout the day and need a little flexibility. It dispenses the right amount every time, and the cats caught on quickly—no more worrying that someone’s going hungry while we’re gone.I also really like that it runs on either a plug or batteries, which gives me some peace of mind in case the power goes out or we need to move it around. The locking lid is another thoughtful touch—it keeps curious paws from breaking into the food stash (which is definitely a real concern with these clever little guys). So far, no issues at all. It feels sturdy and well-built, so I’m hopeful it’ll last us a good while. It’s going to make life a lot less stressful when we’re traveling or even just out for the day. Highly recommend if you're feeding outdoor cats or just want a reliable feeder for home!
