Ordered this part for our church projector but unfortunately our projector it toast. So we never had a chance to use the replacement bulb. The original cost was refunded quickly!

This lamp does appear to be an exact replacement for the original bulb (they were visibly identical, down to the markings), and installed without any issues (though it should be noted the bulb is held in by a single screw that is not obvious in the install instructions).I'm currently running the bulb with the projector in "Eco mode" and I'm very happy with the brightness and image quality (standard mode doesn't offer much of a brightness improvement so I opted for the longer-life option). I'll update this review if it burns out before it's expected lifespan.

I bought this product and it was defective. I installed in on my projector according to the manufacturers instructions however when projector turns on, the light flickers and turns off. Is there anyone that could help me with this? Perhaps I am missing an additional step.

It is bright, but flickers when adjusting or scrolling through projector menu.

This is my main screen for my house. This bulb has been in use for 4 months with 2-3 hours per day. The housing was a tight fit and I could not screw to the housing to the projector. The bulb still worked despite this issue. The bulb is not as bright as the original, but still a bright bulb. My screen is in a living room that has 2 large windows on each side of the view area without blackout curtains on them, only thick darkening curtains. I can watch television during the day with a low to moderate wash out from the sun. Night viewing with this bulb is still very good. Missing one star due to tight fit and not being able to screw it to the projector and the slight dimness during daytime viewing compared to the original bulb.

Shuts off after about 30 seconds. Did not work for Mitsubishi FD630U.
