Not quite the right fit on pegboard

The product was decent. If you have a thin peg board meant for light weight items then it should be okay. However, if you have a thicker pegboard from the hardware stores then the way these hooks are made won’t give you the clearance to hang them. The middle metal piece makes it impossible to put it in flush against the board without bending/breaking the hook or tearing the peg hole.

As other negative reviews have stated, these are constructed in such a way that they sit at a 45 degree angle when placed into the pegboard due to a design flaw. In addition, they are very flimsy for the length and would slowly bend down if used to hang tools of any weight like a wrench.In the attached photo, the pegboard hook on the right, is a STANDARD pegboard hook base. The hook on the left is this manufacturer's idea of standard, but the stabilizer is designed to prevent the hook from resting correctly against the pegboard.Returned for refund.

The angle of attachment of the two pieces is a little off, causing the hangar to sit at a steep upward angle. They have to be bent to sit horizontal and it always feels like they are going to break when you are doing so. So far, so good, they have all stayed together and function as they should.
