So I always plug my cameras in when recording videos in-studio. However, I always need to be situated to a nearby outlet, which isn't always the most convenient or preferred location. With this adapter, I can plug it into my laptop, a battery pack, etc. This has really freed up my location selection. Works great and the USB-C enables a lot of flexibility. Thumbs up.

Great piece of kit if you don't want to swap batteries out.Astrophotography? I can hook this up my portable solar generator, and shoot all night long.It comes with an 118" cable...plenty of length to keep power brick out of the way of shooting...anything at all.I took a chance and hooked it right up to my most expensive camera...so you don't have to. Worked perfectly...coming out of my 100 watt USB output on solar generator. Now I can have hours and hours of shooting...no battery swapping at all.If you need something like this...you cannot go wrong.Big thumbs up!!
