I needed to replace the 37 year old coolant valve on my 86 Dodge as the vacuum actuator was defective. I installed this new 4 seasons valve to find a rather significant coolant leak at the control shaft. Had to reinstall the old valve and wait for a replacement. Hopefully this was a manufacturing error and the replacement valve will not leak coolant.
