Picture is deceiving. I thought I would get all "white" white birch poles. I ordered a total of 8 and 5 are actually "white". The other 3are brownish color. I realize a white birch tree is not all covered with the white paper like bark, but since that is clearly what people are buying them for, that is the only part they should sell, or show in the picture that you could get some branches that don't even look like birch. I could have cut branches off my willow tree and got a branch that looks like the 3 I received. I'm happy with the other 5, but I wanted, and paid for 8.
