These are SO cute and funny! I added a photo above, but it doesn’t do this piece justice because my baby Bogart would not sit still enough for me to fully expand the blanket, it it’s a hysterical and nifty idea. Does he know it’s his? No, but he’s a rag doll. They are smart, so I’m certain that he will figure it out in time. The blanket is nice and soft.It’s not very big for the price, but it is a unique gift ideas for animal lovers.. both of cats and dogs. If it was about $10 cheaper, I’d be more inclined to give it that extra star, but it came nicely packaged and is definitely giftable! Plus, it helps keep cat and dog hair off of your precious furniture. It’s a very unique blanket! I got one for my other cat too. A penguin, so I’ll share there as well! I would recommend this, as it is a good laugh and a nice product, overall.**Ps- Oh, it redirects me to this review, so I guess I cannot review such a similar product, twice, so I’ll share Archie’s Penguin blanket above.**

I have a lot of pets. I'm always on the lookout for something special for them. Blankets are always welcome. I have an outdoor cat who is FIV positive, so we brought him in, to help him live a longer life. He has a favorite perch I made on the window sill he loves to sit in and stare outside, and sit in the sun. This blanket is perfect for letting him lay in comfort.It is very cute and nice and soft. Spot loves it!

The Fred & Friends HOWLIGANS Exotic PET Blanket is a fun blanket for your pets. We have 4 dogs, and they have had a blast lying on this and tugging it around the room. The blanket is bright, and with the monkey on the front, it looks funny for the two seconds my dogs will tolerate having the blanket on their body. I tried to get a picture, but none of them would lie still long enough.We have a fleece blanket we picked up at Walmart for a couple of bucks a few months ago. My SO cut it into smaller blankets and the dogs love laying on them. To my touch, there is little to no difference between the Fred and Friends, and the Walmart blanket. The point is, this is a $26 blanket for your pet, and they aren't going to care where you got the blanket or how much it costs.Overall, the pets like the blanket, but there are vastly cheaper options out there.

This is an adorable pet blanket for those of us who like to have a little fun with our pets. Our dog is a wonderful lazy lump and the thought of turning her into a napping penguin was irresistible to me. As you can see, she humored me beautifully. I absolutely love the vibrant and gender-neutral green of this super soft blanket; it just adds to the cuteness. It's not a big blanket but for our 53 lb muscle-y pit bull, it's plenty big whether she's curled into a ball or stretched out. I do have to say, as someone who generally buys dog blankets on clearance, this is quite pricey to me, but it is a quality blanket that I anticipate will last for some time.

When I ordered this blanket, I thought there would be a head at the top, but I was wrong. When you lay it over your pet, then it looks like your cat or dog has the body of a cow! Sort of silly, because our pets like to lay ON their blankets and not have them put OVER them when they lay down. Although the manufacturer shows dogs using this product, our cats like it too. Especially our boy cat - Toby. He thinks this is his own special blankee and won't let the other cats on it at all! It is a pretty good size at 30" X 40", but he likes to scrinch it up to where it is lumpy - then he lays on it. The material is 100% polyester - one side is like a fleece and the other side is somewhat shiny and where the printing is of the animal (Mine is a cow). It holds the warmth from when he has laid on it, so it must be warm to him. I haven't had to wash it yet, but it should hold up nicely.

First, this is very soft and feels great. It’s not thick, but thicker than I expected and it’s warm.The print is fun, but our cat doesn’t care.She won’t get under the blanket with her head sticking out as in the picture on the package sleeve, but she will go under it.She’ll also stay on top of it if we put it in the sun, which we do. But, in general, it’s just another blanket, another gift to her from her admirers, and she wouldn’t dare let us know that it means anything at all to her; it’s just one more token of appreciation from her minions. And she will not pose for us; even when sleeping she knows if we are approaching with a camera. It's eerie.So, I can’t tell you how she feels about it, but she sleeps well on it and hasn’t ripped it to shreds or coughed up hairballs on it, and we’ll make the assumption that she finds it favorable and she will let us serve her for another day.These are so nice, we got two of them. The monkey is for the pup. Of course, he likes anything we give him and will let me take pics of him using it for my next review.We humans love it. If they made this in a larger size, this would be the perfect “it’s a bit chilly, let’s wrap this around us as we watch TV” blanket. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a big fan of Fred, his friends and their swag. It all started when I saw Fred’s now iconic knife rack. I had to have it for my kitchen. Years later, you’ll find Fred all over my house. Everything is fun and functional, like these Fred’s Exotic Pet blankets. The first one I got, the penguin, went right into our dachshund’s bed. He looks hilarious in certain positions under the blanket. I like that it’s cotton and washable. It’s been through two cold water washes so far, with no signs of fading or pilling. 2.5 feet by 3.5 feet, it’s perfect for our medium dog. I’m planning on gifting the goat and monkey blankets to two other little dogs that I regularly watch and love. If you like Fred, you’ll like his Exotic Pet Blankets!
