I have tried a few different name brands & the T-Max is the best sounding of them all hands down. They even have bass to the music, all the others were very high pitched with zero bass at all. Only issue I have had was my girl trying to plug the charge cord into the speaker port to charge, or plugging the plug in backwards & damaging the port. This purchase was to replace the unit she damaged doing both.FreedConn, if you monitor reviews may I suggest, using a single port for speakers AND charging or at the bare minimum switching to a "C" port, so that the cord cannot be inserted backwards damaging the unit. :-)
