His Majesty (a dragon of the bearded variety) didn’t notice when his human fed him these instead of braving the Canadian winter to make a trip to the local pet store. He devoured these just the same as live crickets (though maybe not as tasty as a hornworm). 10/10 Would order again (although unfortunately they haven’t been in stock to do so)

Best bugs you can find without growing them yourself, and I'm not about to breed grasshoppers in my downtown apartment. Live insects are noisy and messy, and freeze dried are crunchy but hollow. By contrast, these bugs are really easy, fresh, and delicious (according to my turtle). I feed these at night and as it gets dark Turtle Bro starts getting excited in anticipation. These grasshoppers and superworms are the highlight of his day.I would not recommend getting a turtle, unless you have a pond. But if a turtle gets left in your house by an ex-roommate and you don't have the heart to put the little guy in the freezer, feed them these insects and make their life a little better. Just be sure your filtration is up to the challenge because the next morning cleanup is...messy.

Purchased this for my semi-aquatic Red Eared Slider turtle. Good product. She loves the larger worms and likes the meal worms as well, but not as much. I will probably be purchasing the large worms again in a package with only those worms as the grasshoppers in this package were just too large for my turtle. She is about 9 inches long, but she didn't like the grasshoppers. Just too big for her to get in her mouth. However, she loved the large worms (I end up cutting them into pieces). Only problem is, I feed her every 2-3 days and this is not the only thing I feed her. I was told that after opening, they should be refrigerated and consumed within 7 days. Well, some of these go to waste for me because 7 days isn't that long before they have to be thrown out. I end up pitching part of the package. So, while my turtle loves these and the product quality is excellent, I guess I have to decide if these expensive worms are worth the cost if I end up throwing them out all of the time. Wish they could be stored in the fridge a little longer or maybe come in smaller bags.
