Outstanding customer service! I ordered an air conditioner from this company that did not fit my space and needed to be returned. When on the status of the return, the package initially could not be found. Customer service went above and beyond to try and help me with satisfactory solution. There was excellent communication between myself and customer service rep Maria Luisa. She responded to all of my emails very promptly and she was able to get the problem resolved and a refund back on my card asap. Thank you Beach Camera again for all of your help! Lorraine

The unit is literally "library quiet". The CPU fan on my 'puter-thingy in the same room makes 2-4 times the noise of the unit. My plug-in power meter shows MOST of the time, it draws LESS than 400 watts!!! A 15,500 BTU 120 volt A/C doing that! The compressor has "soft-start" technology (saving electricity!) and "shifts gears" ONLY when it needs to make more cold. The fan is "infinitely variable speed" in the ECON mode too. I'm guessing (educatedly) this unit will cost less than $30 a month to operate in this year's scorching heat (7/29/24, 100*F 67% R. H-feels like 109*F Weather Service says), instead of $100-140 for my old "Life's Bad" unit. It uses the new R-32 coolant and the air coming out of the unit is about 35-39*F . I have a 100 year-old tract house that central heat/air wouldn't work well in and good mini-splits (six rooms) would cost about $45,000 (Toshiba's or Matsushita's) and in Tulsa, OK would require back-up gas heat. I had an RV with a Dometic 17,100 BTU roof air, but it cost $3000+. I got this Fredrich for under $800 (barely :)). I had a Fredrich for 15-16 years, and if this unit lasts like that, I'll have MADE MONEY with energy savings and I love the QUIET-never a window unit's strong suit!
