This stuff is amazing. Keeps everything sealed and lubed. Everything just wipes off without scrubbing or solvent. I used this stuff on my SR1911 probably 10 years ago and I only just added another coat and it honestly probably didn't even need it. It's a bit of a process to use but definitely worth the time.

Smoothest glide I've ever felt. Hard to believe this stuff is made from coconut oil. Will only be using Frog Lube from now on!

Its definitely expensive but I find it does work but you have to stay using it or it won’t work like its supposed too. You cannot go back and forth between cleaning products.

I have been using Frog Lube products exclusively on all my guns for over 10 years - handguns, rifles, shotguns. It has never gummed up on me even after extended storage. Works great. Smells great. Safe on hands. Edible!Note: My review is for Frog Lube only.

I’ve used this on guns for 5 years. One used exclusively with this still looks, feels and operates like brand new, with no fingerprints showing after handling. If you read about it making a sticky mess or having an adverse effect on performance the review was written by someone who didn’t or is otherwise incapable of following instructions. You HEAT the parts, apply the paste and then let it cool for several hours. Next, you WIPE IT ALL OFF with a microfiber towel. Nothing left to become sticky. Avoid glopping into areas it will run down inside. I love this stuff and swear by it. The only protectant I use on my firearms.

I love this system. You do need to heat it in as you apply the coats, but have put quite a few hundred fast rounds through my hand guns after treating them and the clips, and no fowled shots or loads from the clip. It keeps my gun looking new and smooth operating. Clean up is so quick and easy after it is treated. a couple light sprays with the spray and simple wipe down, drops in the bore, run through with a Boresnake and it was done. As a test to rust, I have had a few fingernail clippers that rusted out quick and a pair that was starting to, I used the system on them, rust cleared up when treating and has not come back in over a year, and the dang clippers are still so lubricated it spins way to easily. Great product and very pleasing mint sent. I still love that it is non toxic and other than using a heat gun to cure it in initially, this is very simple to use.

I purchased this due to needing a way to properly clean and preserve my firearms. This worked really well. I am really impressed. From the cleaner, to the preservative, to the different cleaning utensils.I ended up using a heat gun as others have recommended to heat up the parts after cleaning before coating with the preservative/ lubricant. Wow did that help.I found I also use Q tips, and old tooth brushes to help with the cleaning and lubricating.I would recommend this to anyone who needs something that will lubricate and help preserve.

This is a great kit for someone who just purchased a new firearm and is starting from scratch. You will have everything you need for your first few cleanings, and the amount of solvent and lube will last you a long time. If you don't know a lot about Frog Lube, the first thing you need to know is that you need to remove all factory grease (on a new gun) or all other petroleum products that have been used on the firearm before your initial use, and this kit gives you the solvent to remove those pervious oil based products.I highly recommend watching you tube videos on how to apply frog lube. It is a very different procedure from your typical gun cleaning and lubricating products. I have been using this on a brand new Glock 19 Gen 4 and the results have been wonderful. I started by using the solvent to remove all factory grease. You then liberally apply Frog Lube all over the slide and frame (I worked in sections), making sure not to apply it in the few places you should not lube a lock (see manual). You then use a hair blow dryer to heat up the gun which allows the metal to expand and bond with the frog lube. After that you let it sit for an hour before wiping everything off. The results are that your gun will extremely easy to clean after a session at the range. Most carbon deposits simply wipe away. So while the initial time investment may be substantial, your cleanings every time there after will be greatly shortened and much easier. After firing 250 rounds I can have my lock back to looking brand new in about 15 minutes.Make sure you read the directions and watch some videos to get more details on how to apply as my instructions are certainly abbreviated. The best part about Frog Lube is that it is plant based, good for the environment, and it smells really nice. I have no qualms about using this in my living room. Happy shooting. Be safe.

Like most I was skeptical, the kit was on sale for close to $30 so I thought I'd give it a try. I just finished building an AR so I thought this would be a great time to give it an honest go.I followed the directions closely. And applied it to all the internal parts only using the paste to lubricate (not the included gel). Function seemed smooth and the fail zero bolt I installed was just as another reviewer mention "slippery like a fish". After a few hundred rounds of function testing, sighting in and just plain shooting I finally decided to take it apart and clean. It was your typical dirty AR as they are after a few hundred rounds. But unlike most dirty ARs it wiped clean easily without solvent! There was still your typical carbon build up on the bolt as usual but I sprayed it with the solvent while I cleaned other parts and light scrubbing with the included nylon brush made it shiny as new. I couldn't believe this, only time that happens is some serious #9 and a scrapper tool! The minty freshness is also a nice feature.Overall my cleaning was half as long as other ARs and I used half the cleaning rags, I applied a light coat of the gel to the upper and brushed a little on the bcg.I'll give it time and try to provide an update. And will also include results with a sticky bolt mosin nagant and a glock. Maybe I'll buy the bigger supply and use it on all the guns, we'll see.
