This prevents paint bleed and delivers the sharp paint line performance you expect from the Frog Tape Brand. FrogTape Pro Painter's Tape is hands down the best painter's tape I've used. It gives me clean, sharp lines every time, without any paint bleed. The tape sticks well to surfaces, but comes off easily without leaving any residue. I used it for both trim work and wall painting, and the results were flawless. What I really appreciate is how it helps prevent errors—it's perfect for those precision lines. If you're tackling a painting project, I highly recommend this tape. It's durable, effective, and makes painting so much easier!

I’ve tried a lot of painter’s tapes over the years, but FrogTape is by far the best one I’ve used. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than regular tape, but it’s totally worth the extra cost. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the tape in place without peeling off paint when removed, and it creates incredibly clean, sharp lines—no bleeding or smudging! The tape sticks well to a variety of surfaces, including walls, trim, and even textured areas, and it comes off easily without damaging the underlying paint or leaving sticky residue. It also stays in place during longer painting sessions, which I really appreciate. If you’re looking for perfect, professional-looking results, FrogTape is definitely worth the investment. It makes a big difference in the final outcome, and for the price, it’s well worth it for anyone who wants to get their painting project done right. Highly recommend!

I live in a fixer upper and each wall in my house has been primed and painted probably 3 or 4 times… I have tried all sorts of tape, cheaper ones… and there is no comparison. Frog tape is worth every penny, and it’s pretty competitevly priced if you bulk the 6 roll package… I’ve just finished painting trim and six doors… and used about 8 rolls. Couple of tips. Try to be consistent to start at one end, always putting the tape on top of the previous piece in the same direction. I used to be more haphazard about it… but if you are consistent in the way you do this, then it will be much much easier to remove… you can start with the first piece, and if you are patient, the whole thing will come off as a long piece. (I learned the hard way, if you try to remove in the other direction, it will take forever because you will only pull off one piece at a time!).I run into problems is if i have to apply multiple layers, and the tape gets soaked with several layers of paint.. then it can be a bit more difficult to remove….As with any tape, make sure your brush or roller is NOT overloaded with paint, otherwise… the excess paint will leak to the bottom, and can pool on the tape… you basically want as little paint as possible to get on the tape.IMHO, if you can paint quickly (1 or 2 coats of prime and 1 or 2 coats of paint in the same day)… I get the best results if I pull the tape off as soon as the paint is dry to touch - usually the time the can indicates the primer or paint can be recoated… if you try to peel tape off while the paint is wet, you can kind of splatter or scatter paint everywhere. If you wait too long, the paint can cure, and can lead to tearing etc… but if you peel it off just when it is dry to touch, the paint is still pliable enough, the break will be very clean and crisp and you will not need to us a razor blade or scraper…Good luck!

I have purchased this more than once. It is the best painters' tape available, and the price is great. It works for painting a clean line, taping down ram board to protect the floor, labelling freezer packages, etc.It sticks when you want it to, and comes off cleanly.

I recently took on a complete home interior paint job and used this tape for the very first time, whereas previously I was using 3M. I must say, it genuinely lived up to its reputation! From the get-go, the tape was easy to apply, and it stuck firmly to whatever surface I needed without leaving any residue behind. It also cut very easily. FrogTape delivered sharp paint lines, ensuring that my paint job looked just professional enough, and clean. The "PaintBlock Technology", which is supposed to keep the paint from bleeding, really works and is totally not some gimmick. Removing the tape was a breeze, and it only slightly tore, but that was more about how I was pulling it off. There was 0 damage the underlying surface it was on, even after several days. Overall, FrogTape has become my go-to choice for whatever I will need to paint in the future. It’s worth every penny, so I highly recommended for all levels' of painters.

I am painting my whole house. I tried other tapes. After painting a couple of rooms, I now only use Frog Tape.

I was very nervous that this might not be legit frogtape, but it's great! It seems slighly better than the green stuff from the store because it tears less during removal - but that might just be me getting better at taping (I learned removing within a few hours of painting makes a HUGE difference) . It seems just a bit more sturdy though?I will NEVER tape with anything but Frogtape again, because everything else simply doesn't work. Decades of experience and i finally learned my lesson. So this value was an awesome find. Sharp lines, no bleeding if pushed on firmly, no stripping off finish.I did NOT try it on my 20 year old laminated kitchen cabinets (just the edges are laminated) . The new formulation of green stuff did rip off bits of that. So I strickly bought the yellow version for that before finding this. No problems on any trim though with this blue.I just wish i hadn't bought so much. It goes much farther than I thought.

This tape worked well for me when I painted the ceiling, walls, and trim in several rooms of my house. The tape adhered well to the walls and removed cleanly after I was finished. It didn't let paint bleed through and had clean lines. I ran out of it and used some of the scotch brand that I had on hand, but it didn't adhere well and pulled paint off the walls. The Frog tape was the superior product, hands down.
