Bought two of these to use on a build, I usually run Aeromotive regulators but figured I'd try some cheap ones. Yeah, that was a mistake. These things fluctuated so much couldn't get a good base pressure and were loud. When I say fluctuate, I mean a solid 20psi swing. First, I thought it was my fuel pumps, but then I put the regulators in another setup, and they did same thing. Ended up ordering Aeromotive 13129 and no more fluctuations, and its quiet.

As others have stated, this needs to be adjusted by cutting 1.5 - 2.5 coils out of the pressure spring in order to drop the pressure to acceptable levels. Couldn't get the pressure below 80 lbs so I cut out 1.5 coils and it brought it down to about 45 lbs. Adjusted it up to 59 lbs where i wanted it to be and it's working flawlessly after that. I would buy this again. Great product for the price.

The bolts are loose because they are too short and only grab 2-3 threads. The spring has tons of pressure on it and pulls threads. Feels like a quality piece, minus the body bolt problem. And someone super glued one bolt in.

Great regulator once you do the needed mods like sloppy mechanics said. Port it out and cut two coils off to get lower pressure.

As others have stated ,I had to disassemble it and cut 2 1/2 coils off the spring to get down to the pressure I need . But at the price it can't be beat works good on my 1200hp turbo ls. Update, just ordered a second one for my Trailblazer ss turbo build. 1/2 hour to remove a few coils saved a ton of money

READ READ!!!!!!! Wrong DescriptionI decided to disassemble This regulator and after inspecting all the parts this regulator is compared to the Aeromotive Extreme Flow EFI Regulator 13132. Please know it comes with a high pressure Spring 75-120PSI not meant For electric pump. (Do not purchase if you’re running electric pump) it is meant for Hex/belt driven pump.

As others stated when this arrived the lowest pressure it would take is 90psi. Way to high for just about any application. Squeeze it in the vice, take the 4 screws out. Remove the spring inside carefully. Cut 2.25 rings off one side of the spring. Flatten the end again. Put it all back together. 40psi. For the money you can't beat it and after that it has worked flawlessly. Took me 20 minutes to do. And never leaked. Considering a name brand one is 4-5 times the cost it was worth it.

Great fuel pressure regulator. Very large internal passages won't restrict fuel flow. It came with dual 10AN feed and 6AN return. However the return and internal passages are large enough to run up to a 10AN fitting on the return. No leaks at all. The seller is super polite, friendly, and responsive to emails.I would highly recommend this regulator for anyone who is running a large fuel system.Thank you for an affordable product that works.
