This grip can be left in place when using a tripod and enables users to change the battery and SD card without having to remove the grip from the body. The Arca Swiss plate can be used as a quick release with compatible tripods.

Love this thing! However, the actual grip part isn’t as sturdy, it wobbles around when you grip the camera. I’m talking specifically about the grip that extends from the plate. It doesn’t wobble around a lot, you can feel and hear it when you pick your camera up as it slightly shifts around. It could be the design since there’s nothing on the grip piece that mechanically attaches to the camera other than the base, so it’s pretty minor. I just assumed it’d be a tighter fit and a stronger grip considering it’s by Fujifilm.

This adds just the right amount of size to make the X-T3 fit your hand like it should without adding any excess weight. I got it instead of teh batter grip as that does add weight which I was looking to avoid. The access to the battery is a nice feature which saves you from ever needing to remove the grip. Also the construction is as good as the camera which is excellent.

Let me preface this by saying ergonomics are entirely subjective and if you have big hands this may be the best grip for you. But personally this grip was slightly less comfortable than the stock grip for me for a couple reasons. First, I wish the grip went slightly up higher so my middle finger had something to grip onto, it seems this grip adds a much larger handle for your pinky and ring finger but your middle finger will rest on the stock grip leaving a slightly awkward gap on my middle finger. Second, the part where your palm rests on the bottom right there is a slight edge on the metal which is less comfortable for long durations than the perfectly rounded bottom of the stock XT3. And third, the grip makes it impossible to tilt the LCD screen up from the bottom of the screen, instead you have to pull it up from the side since the hand grip blocks the bottom of the lcd from being lifted up.The build quality is amazing however and the grip material makes it feel like an extension of your camera, I would suggest trying it out for yourself and using the amazon return policy if you cannot justify the hefty pricetag. Your results may vary from mine but I feel like it couldve been slightly more refined for this price.

It is expensive but high quality built by Fujifilm, if you have Fujifilm XT3 it is highly recommended.

I'm finding that for my large hands the Fuji X-T3 is too small. Having the grip helps me immensely even though I continue to bump tiny buttons. The grip I received is well made and fits perfectly.

Though I been shooting Fuji-X since Day One, I'm in the process of a complete transition from my Nikon APS-C system to a full Fuji-X kit. An early purchase was the X-T20. A few months after that, I got the Fujinon 100-400. However, the X-T20 was uncomfortable with that big zoom and I tried a couple of less-expensive grips. They were OK, but not great.Fast forward a few more months and I picked up an X-T3. I knew I needed a better grip so, even though I plan on getting the battery/vertical grip down the road, I also wanted the option of a non-battery version. So....This.Good choice. Sure -- it is easily twice the price of all the others, but the fit of the MGH-Xt3 on the X-T3 is good, and the texture of the grip surfaces is now continuous. The big improvement with the 100-400 (and the 50-140, which is packed away right now) is that I have a broader bearing surface for the heel of my right hand, as wall as the extra grip area for my fingers. It really makes a difference. If I use the X-T3 as a travel camera, I'll probably leave the battery/vertical grip at home and just take this one, since it doesn't bulk up the camera that much.

This is my third OEM Fujifilm MHG metal hand grip, having previously owned both the X-T1 and X-T2 versions. What does CAD $180 get you? The MHG-XT3 provides a rubberized grip that increases the security of your hold on the camera, particularly with larger Fujinon lenses (e.g. XF16-55, XF80 macro, XF16mm F1.4). It also has a bottom plate that is tripod mountable on Arca Swiss compatible heads, and mounts with a slotted screw (use a coin, hex wrench not required). Quality is top notch, being constructed of black anodized aluminum that perfectly fits the camera body).I like the grip because it improves my control over the camera, while still keeping the XT3 slim and fitting easily in my camera bag (unlike a battery grip). However, in terms of value this OEM Fujifilm grip loses two stars (3/5) as it is overpriced in my opinion (whereas the Meike grips are 5/5 for value). Although my wife initially thought I was crazy to spend the money “when the XT3 already has a perfectly ergonomic feel”, once she tried mine, I ended up ordering a second MHG-XT3 for her!

It’s a little pricey but well made. Fits like a glove and looks like it’s part of the camera. Allows for a more secure hold of the camera and the fact that a Arca Swiss plate is part of the grip is a bonus.

A bit of an extravagance given the price but it makes holding the camera so much better. And the arca Swiss plate compatibility is wonderful.

I had a non-Fuji hand grip (for not a lot money), and it worked fine. When I saw this, bought it, and then put it on my Fuji X-T3, I was sold. I bought another one for my X-T2. There is a marked difference between the non-Fuji and this one. I have slightly large hands and this grip makes handling my cameras so much steadier. You can tell it is solidly built. I highly recommend it.

I'm 6'2" with hands on the larger side, this grip feels incredible, fits snugly, and makes the camera much more substantial to hold. Its not cheap, and its a little heavy. Expect your camera to have some extra heft to it. All in all I'm dang happy with it.
