I have used it a number of times with the X-H1 for long exposure shots and appreciate how easy it is to use and how it times the exposure. A good accessory to have and it is not too badly priced.

I was told that it was for the XT-1, but it works well on my XT-2. Fires consistently and easy to use. Wish the cord was a little longer, but still very happy with my purchase.

I got this to go with my Fujifilm X-30, and it works perfectly, I'm quite pleased with it. With the button half pressed, it will focus as if you had your finger on the camera's shutter release, so I'm happy it will do that well. Much better than a cable release, and it plugs into the camera's mini-USB port. Vastly overpriced, however, which is why I resisted buying it a year ago when I got my X30. Since I'm doing more tripod work now, this will be very useful.

I bought this remote release because I've started taking photos of the night sky. Mostly this review reiterates / confirms what others have written about this device;- It is very lightweight, and the switch mechanism feels disconcertingly flimsy.- The cable is 32" (approx. 80cm) long.- It plugs into your camera via a micro-USB socket.- A very gentle half press of the button engages AF/AE, a full press makes the exposure.- When your camera is in Bulb mode, you can lock the button down by pressing and sliding it forward. My camera (Fujifilm X-T1) then displays a count-up timer on the monitor.- Other (third party) triggers have additional functions e.g. intervalometer, however this was redundant to me since my camera has this built in.Pros:- Simple. It's a button. That locks. Only.- No batteries.- Lightweight.Cons:- Feels like something that should cost half what it does. Dear Mr/Ms Fuji, I don't mind paying a premium for your cameras and lenses, because I can SEE and FEEL where the money went. Low compromise, high level awesomeness. But $40 + tax for this... thing? Really???Recommended, but I wish it cost less. Sad to say my purchasing decision was primarily influenced by having a $25 Amazon gift card!

Please, hold your applause, but this remote does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it perfectly. This remote is very cheaply made. Mine sticks probably from weak springs. It's not expensive and it shouldn't be. Go with another option.

It's exactly what you would expect from a remote shutter release. The material feels a little flimsy. The material that this is made from is not very thick. I have some concerns about how it will perform in cold weather (I hope it doesn't break if dropped). The actual shutter release is spring loaded in the housing, so it has a nice feel when you press it. Ergonomically, it seems to be designed correctly. The cable is about the right length. My only complaint is that this does not seem as robust as the other Fuji genuine products.Fortunately, this is priced correctly. I am using it when it's cold out and I don't want to access the small buttons on the camera or use my cell phone.

This remote feels well-built and able to handle rugged, everyday use. It fits snugly into the camera, stays connected (I've had remotes that loosely fell out on their own), and always fires when pressed. Easy to half-press for focus. Easy to lock for long exposures...you just push it forward while pressing it and it will lock. It got wet one time while I was shooting in a misty light rain. No problems from getting wet.I've owned cheaper remotes before and you can tell the difference...the cheaper ones won't accurately allow you to half-press for focus, the wires aren't insulated enough to handle rugged use, and the connection can break off if under a little pressure.None of these issues apply to the RR-90. It's a good product.
