fisheye makes picture grainy and color is more grayscale than color. Cable is too short to run from license plate to side panels then to radio. You will need a splice or coupler for the cable for at 2004 4runner.

Fits a 2004 Highlander perfectly. Had to use an extension cable to properly reach the dash unit.

The camera didn't work with the radio. For my luck the radio I bought came with a camera, so I replaced the one of the radio with the one which came in this item.

I installed this camera on a 2008 4runner. It does fit nicely once the oem bulb socket assembly is completely removed, giving it a nice "factory" look. Its a fairly clear picture in both day and night mode. However the camera viewing angle is not wide enough too see the towing hitch. After adding some shims to adjust the angle I was finally able to get my tow ball barely in view but that limited the view past the hitch to only about 6ft. Also, since the liscense plate lights aren't centered, neither is the camera view.Pros: Fits good, looks good, works as a basic backup camera.Cons: Completely useless for backing up to a trailer, oem bulb socket wiring needs to be cut to install
