Snapped clean off after a few days of use. Not sure if defective or just not rated for the kind of vibrations and impacts produced by a bicycle (never mind that that's literally what it's advertised for smh)

Need to attach a radio (ham, gmrs, cb, whatever) to your handlebars or other tube-like structure. This will tighten up quite nicely and give you a place to hang it. You get pretty much exactly what you expect with this one.

This is a good solution for what it is, but be mindful of how large the belt clip is on your radio. I tried using this with my Kenwood TH-D74 ham radio, the clip is so thin that there is a lot of open space around it so I’m worried a big bump might make it pop out. They include some little adhesive foam to add to make up the space but it was not enough for that radio. Commercial radios tend to have more substantially sized clips which may be more secure.

In addition to clamping on to vertical/horizontal tubes (bicycles, ATVs, etc), this also does a fine job of attaching to the edge of a desk. The bicycle-skewer design is quite clever and secure. Once dialed in it is easy to take on and off. The only concern I'd have is that, by design, 100% of the jars/jolts of the HT bouncing up and down would be transferred to the belt clip of the radio. There is a foam pad on one inner side of the belt clip opening, and a second is included should the user wish to add it for additional protection/spacing issues.

So, the largest problem with this unit is that while the gripping claw has rubber molded inserts, and the clipping mechanism will work as they state, the ball tensioner has plastic threads. These simply won't hold for long. Also, the ball should be TPU coated.At this price point, perhaps I'm expecting too much.You can see that I've attached a Kenwood HT and the fit and grip is good. I'll use it, but I wouldn't attach an expensive radio to it long term, or not in a place such as a boat where you may be on the wrong side of recovery.

I was not sure this would be big enough for the gladiator grab handle since it was smaller than the ibolt clamp. But it turns out that it still fits great.The ibolt clamp does offer a security screw, but this sits inside a vehicle, so I'm less concerned.And this one has a lever so you do not have to tighten down as much.This does have the smaller ball than the standard size, but since it comes with the radio holder, compatibility was not a concern. But the angle is limited to the single ball. So any extenders would have to be for the small balls.The preinstalled padding was an exact fit for my baofeng handheld radio.Overall, this works much better and is less cumbersome than the ibolt and magnetic mob armor set up I was using previously.

Fits a Baofeng HT just fine, easy to remove and insert and is plenty stable thanks to the soft material inside to lock it in place. The clamp can get plenty tight and I am sure it will stay put, but just be cautious as usual with any technology moving at high speeds with a plastic clamp.

I haven’t decided if this is going in my tractor or my bicycle. The part that grips on a pole or handlebar is padded with rubber. It has a bicycle quick release style retention. Should work well for its intended purpose.
