This is an excellent starter kit. I purchased it as a Christmas gift for someone who was interested in cross stitch but had never tried it before. She loves it! The adida fabric and threads are of good quality. The pattern is printed on the cloth but there is also a printed pattern. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get into the craft.

This is the first time working with a pattern printed on the material. It is very different working with a pattern like this. But it is very easy to get started. I will update this review once I finish the picture and am able to wash it. Hopefully the pattern will all come off. I am very excited to try this new pattern. I got the one with the black cat because I've had three in my lifetime and I thought it looked cute. Everything you need to complete your cross stitch is included expect for something to mount the canvas on. It's important to keep your cross stitch project flat and tightly secured so just keep that in mind before you place an order. The embroidery floss is great and beautiful. I'm really looking forward to completing this one.
