I got it for my mother who likes to use a scarf over her head rather than a hat, and this was the perfect dimensions to be wrapped around her head (wide enough and not too long). It was very soft. It even washed well. Very happy with my purchase!

Perfect- the length is long so that when I wrap it or double knot it, it still has length to it and the thickness is medium weight. It blocks the wind but isn't smothering. I sometimes drape it over my head when its sprinkling outside. The material is free flowing and not stiff. I love scarves and these are perfect to me. If you're looking for a thin scarf or a really thick smothering scarf this isnt it. I wear this scarf all day.. its perfect!

I wore this wrap on New Year's Eve with a coppery/gold dress and it looked beautiful. It was warmer than I had imagined it to be. It works great as a wrap or a large scarf. It will definitely come in handy for traveling as a nice on chilly airplanes.
