I was able to get his up and running with a Pololu controller very quickly. Wish it was supplied with more technical info, i.e. # of steps per/rev or steps/in/mm of travel.

I needed to replace the motor, just needed the rail. This product will not allow you to do that easily if at all. Other than that, it seems of good quality.

It runs very smooth with sub-steps. and It is so powerful I could not stop with my hand when set to 12VDC/480ma current, the actual driving current from my power supply is about 160ma. I like it!
