Really love the Gradual brand - and these are perfect! Sizing is good, and I love that they offer so many different lengths of these "board shorts" for women. Several years ago it was almost impossible to find board shorts for women. Living in a tropical environment we are in and out of the water frequently, so these are perfect even for running around town. LOVE the tropical designs (navy flower, leaf).Size-wise, I ordered a Large and it's perfect. I'm 5'3" and the length is maybe just a tad long, but I like the long look. I'm 135 lb, hips 39, waist 30 and the Large is perfect. I wouldn't want it any smaller. I'd probably be fine with a bit larger, but not smaller.

Did not care for these at all. The top waiste seem cut into my waiste and the crouch was short. I prefer another brand; but these might work for you if you are petit.

I am really enjoying these swim shorts. They are the cut of a long board short and the fabric of a swimsuit. I sized up a couple sizes so that they would be a bit oversized and comfortable. I was worried about them falling off in the water due to the baggier fit, however, they have been staying on well. They come with an attached brief insert, but I cut it out with scissors because I find it a bit restrictive. Once I altered the design by removing the inner brief, it made a world of difference in terms of comfortability. I have a feeling these shorts are going to be my go-to for swimming for as long as they last me. They already are the ones I grab for first in my closet when I want to go for a swim. I'm really pleased with them and recommend them.
