I purchased this chair at the end of July and put it together/began using it in early August. I was really excited and initially it was very comfortable. Within 45 days of using it, the wheels began to break. The first one broke in September, but because I was outside of 30 days, the company wouldn't replace the chair (or give me a refund), they simply sent me a new wheel. I told them that it didn't feel right to me that a NEW chair was having these problems within 45 days of purchase. (Mind you, I'm not using my chair for gaming - but for office work so I'm not tilting and leaning in it, etc.).I got the new wheel and installed it, and about 6 weeks later, 2 more wheels broke. I wrote the company AGAIN, explaining to them how disappointed I was, and requested that they let me return the chair. Again, it makes no sense that I now have had THREE wheels break on a new chair in 90 days. Instead, they just sent me two new wheels, instead of backing up their product. I guess I'll be installing the new wheels tonight and I'll keep you posted if these break as well.Overall, not only am I disappointed in the quality of the product, I am even more disappointed in the customer service of BisonOffice and their unwillingness to TRULY stand behind their products. They had two opportunities to make this right, and chose both times to take the "easy" way out. Purchase with caution!!!

I really love this chair. My wife got me this chair for Fathers day. its a perfect fit and its very comfortable. However your wondering why only 3 stars right? For one the casters (wheels) are very cheep and hard plastic. If you have hardwood floors expect the worse. Put something under it like a rug. Also the base were the casters go are very cheep iron and bend. Evryone knows when playing a good game your weight goes all the way to the edge of the chair and your swinging about in and out trying to avoid what ever danger in game. Meanwhile your body has instincts to react and move while on the edge of your seat... One of the arms on the base just bent out of shape. My wife quickly called the company and they sent an entire new chair. I took only the base and wheels, however i upgraded the casters immediately and now it just floats around on rubber made wheels of better quality.I will update you if t he BASE bends again. But seriously if you make a beautiful chair and have no foundation for it and you say its a gaming chair then really it needs quality. Nothing that can just bend out of shape but something sturdy being your going to rock on the chair when playing games. its just common sense.UPDATE: I want to confirm the original wheels are indeed cheep and the cause of the bent arm. I added high quality casters where the chair just floats around with no resistance and the arms arr good. Excellent chair.... gave it and additional star after upgrading the wheels. I'd give it 5 stars but the wheels came out of my pocket. So just a heads up. Get rid of the plastic and get real rubber casters. You won't regret it.

I did not buy this on amazon, got it for a better price at another store. It is relatively easy to put together and for the price it was a good buy. The armrests feel a little weird and the swivel outward and inwards sometimes when I move my hand and make a loud ticking sound when they swivel. The lower cushion gives a little back support but they feel like they will go flat fast with use and you will lose the support from them. The chair has a strong synthetic smell but hopefully that goes away quickly now that it is out of the box. It feels comfortable right now, I just hope that it will be durable. Some other person said in a review that the casters are cheap, that is true. But for the cost, I thought it was worth a try. I'm well within the weight limit for this chair, so let's see how this goes.

This chair has absolutely ruined my lower back. It is terribly uncomfortable. It sucks. BUY SOMETHING ELSE.

would probably like it better if it didn't come half broken it manages but i didn't feel like dissembling it and shipping it back, so i just made it work i could only put one screw in on one side but other than that the chair is great would be a 5 if it didn't come half broken.

The price of this chair was appealing compared to its high end competition (dxracer). It assembled in minutes and was very straightforward. Build quality was very good and it wouldn't surprise me if this chair lasted several years. HOWEVER, as much as I liked this chair it was not nearly wide enough for me. I am a rather husky fellow at 5'11" and 275lbs. The bolsters on the bottom of the chair dug into my thighs bad enough it caused bruising. My roommate however who is literally half my size decided to buy it from me rather than let me return it. So thats the only reason I didn't give this product five stars. Their website (Techni) was somewhat vague and did not have any fitment guides for their chairs, which would have been very useful before purchasing this one. PS There is only approx 18 inches from bolster to bolster so if you can live with that you will love this chair.
