Super easy to install and made my life easier to have it handy on the outside of the sink rather than having to open the door to flip the switch. Very happy with this item. I have had it for several months and its working perfect!

I wasn't looking for this originally but instead was looking for other options to "remote control" the disposer switch that is under the sink. This device works great. It has multiple options for run time and the remote can be placed just about anywhere. Hit the 10 second button and the disposer runs for 10 seconds, does it's job and turns off. All good!!! I may be several more as gifts for others.

We had the switch to the garbage disposal back against the wall next to another switch. This device allows me not to have to reach back to turn the disposal off and on.This device also helps me not to get confused and flip the wrong switch on.I love how it automatically turns off.

Perfect device. We’ve had this for almost two years. We cook at lot at home and trigger it maybe 50 times a day. It handles our 1HP Insinkerator perfectly. It never fails to start or stop. The 5s and 10s timers are the perfect lengths of time to trigger it. Only issue is that it’s not waterproof, so we wrap ours on plastic film and keep it on out windowsill above the sink - that does the trick to enable us to use it w/ soaking wet hands. Have not had to change the battery yet.

This product was super easy to install and works well. The wireless install saves a lot of money over having an electrician install a hard-wired switch.

Overall, this should've been a great switch, but you can't use it anywhere near the sink.I bought it as a replacement for an older optical switch that was installed in the usual place (by the sink). Worked great initially and then died. When I opened the switch, it was clear that it was completely destroyed by the splashes of water.

We used this for a couple weeks with our old garbage disposal before the kitchen renovation. The new one should be installed in a couple weeks, and it has a 3/4 HP motor, so we'll have to see if it still works. This device was the only one of its kind that could handle more than a 1/2 HP motor.I found the 5 second and 10 second buttons very convenient and used them most of the time unless I had a lot of garbage to go down the drain. It worked every time. So far, so good.The magnetic latch to the back-plate is a good idea and lets someone easily remove it for changing the battery. That back-plate can fasten magnetically to metal things like a dishwasher or refrigerator, or you can remove the covering on the tape in back and stick it to a backsplash. That's what we plan to do when the renovation is finished.The only thing I can't review is the lifetime of the device before it dies. Since it's made in China, it could end up being very short lived, since things that come from China are often pieces of junk, but I hope that's not the case here since I really like it.

New custom house being built. Plumber goes to install garbage disposal, there’s a standard duplex AC power socket in the cabinet but no switch anywhere in the cabinet or kitchen walls and no hole in granite countertop for an “air” switch which wife didn’t want there anyway. Hmmm, what can we do? Ahhh, look what I found, it’s a wireless remote controlled AC smart plug!!! Plugs right into existing duplex AC socket, takes up only one plug (doesn’t block other one at all) and remote has 4 buttons! On, Off, 5 seconds on then auto off or 10 second on and then auto off. Remote has an adhesive backed base so it can be put anywhere or just tossed in a nearby drawer. The remote can be separated from base and remote has built in magnets to hold it to base. This solved my garbage disposal switch problem for only $23. Could not be happier. Remote uses a common 2032 coin type battery, it’s already installed.
