We used this on a lamp that's across a large room. We rarely use it, but it's nice to have a quick switch for when we do need it. It set-up in seconds. It works as it should. Happy reviewer!

This is a really cool way to control a light without doing much electrical work. It's super easy to use and it's plug-n-play! I just removed 1 star due to the extra buttons on the remote. This could control more than 1 outlet but that's only if you have multiple. Since I got the 1, it was a little weird for my wife.

Works just as intended. I have the plug about 40 feet away from the where I am operating switch and it has worked perfectly so far. Hoping that the battery will last, but that is something only time and usage will be able to reveal. I have noticed that range is not as stated like 500ft. If I go anywhere outside 100ft it just doesnt work. That is the only reason I took 2 stars from my rating.

In the past, I ordered a similar product and felt the need for a second.This product is absolutely amazing and I love the design and conceptBeing able to plug any electrical device and turn it on and off with the remote is super convenient.I am using it to plug-in a floor lamp That provides light in a room with no ceiling fixture whatsoever.My home was built in 1966. There are several rooms that simply have no light some have an old connection where the switch will power and outlet in any case. This is still not very convenient for me And I like that this solves that problem 100%It literally takes less than one minute to hook everything up and be able to turn on and off the floor lamp just by using the remote.You simply plug in the base unit and then the light and it’s a simple as that starts working right awayWhat separates this product from others like it is the safety features it contains, as well as the compact size that allows a second plug to be connected into the same outlet.Because this is also programmable and expandable you can add more than just one all controlled by one RemoteThe other convenient feature is up to 500 foot range for a connection to whatever device it is that’s plugged in and you needing to turn on and offYet extremely affective, versatile and functional. I would absolutely recommend and everyone should have one.
