Seals boat drain great, NOTE: I use 3M Auto/Marine Sealant, I put Sealant on the old holes and on the newly screws holes before the new screws in and comply around plug interance but not into the open hole, after I have plug on, I spread the 3M around the plug. I DO NOT LET AND 3M GET INTO THE HOLE. Amazon sells the 3M Auto/Marine Sealant.
