When you hold it in your hand, you know you have metal and quality. The valve operation is smooth and precise.I have used a cheaper attachment for my spigot and always got irritated at how hard it was to twist the small 1-inch plastic levers. This item is so much better.Just one note--be careful if you have other attachments on your hose (like I do...see photo). Thankfully, it still opens the valve good enough BUT the handle hits the timer. Otherwise, this is a 5-star item.

Hefty, robust brass. Works perfectly so far and opening and closing the valves has a silky feel. I expect it will outlast the plastic junk.

No more trying to turn on and off the water by using those tiny, tight, plastic levers that you can never get a good purchase on and strain to turn open or close. The spliter body is made out of brass, so it will not rust. Attaching the Y Valve Water Garden Hose Adapter 2 Way Long Handle by EJW to your outside faucet is the same as making any hose connection, just screw the valve onto the faucet. The connection has a nut type fitting, rather than a round, textured collar so if needed, you can fit a wrench or plyers on for tightening. The connection fitting rotates on the splitter until it is tight, so you don’t have to spin the entire splitter body around. This Y Valve Water Garden Hose Adapter 2 Way Long Handle by EJW is built to last and very easy to operate.

Okay so this company went the extra mile. I didn't notice that it came with plumbers tape and extra rubber O-rings so imagine my surprise when I opened the box and saw those. I was like, wow, I don't usually use plumbers tape for things like this in my garden but I definitely will for this and I did... No leaks! The whole thing has a nice metalic weight to it and the handles for the ball valves are excellent. Nice and long with an easy yet firm transition from on to off and back again. I will be buying a couple more of these this summer for sure.

When I saw this splitter with large ball valve type on off handles, it was a no brainer for me.The handles are easy to open and close. The water pressure is not impeded at all, and they are made of brass, so I know they will last a very long time. I am so happy with this item, and I would recommend you give this a try

I’m so glad I found this heavy-duty brass splitter! It’s a substantial piece of equipment—much more solid than the competitors I’ve tried in the past. The large on/off handles are clearly labeled, making it so much easier to control water flow. My old splitter had those tiny switches that were awkward to use and hard to tell if they were on or off. This new one eradicates that problem entirely.I attached both of my garden hoses, turned on the water, and was pleased to see absolutely no leaks. The kit even comes with extra Teflon tape and two additional washers, so you’re set for any future maintenance.All in all, this brass splitter feels like a quality piece that I probably won’t ever have to replace. For the price, it’s an absolute bargain. Highly recommend!

I've ordered several types of these faucet splitters and most worked great. This particular one functioned as an either or instead of allowing the water to flow equally between both sides. The build quality was good but functionality not what I wanted. For me this was a disappointment.
