I really like this hose splitter. It seems actually sturdy and comes with additional O rings to help maintain a tight fit. I was happy to find something that wasn't completely made out of plastic. I'm going to be using this with a micro irrigation system setup & it's nice to have the flexibility to have irrigation be one side, and maintain control of a hose on the other side. So far I haven't experienced any leaks or dripping. I would definitely recommend this hose splitter!

Very pleased with this hose splitter connector. It's good quality and makes watering the garden so much easier. Having 2 hoses available in opposite areas is much easier than dragging the hose around and knocking down plants. This connector makes it happen.I added plumber's tape and had no leaks. The valve on the right is open in the picture.

This is a standard water faucet splitter. I use this for my garden hose on one side and a pool hose with a watering timer on the other side. It comes with extra washers which is needed if there is any leak after tightening the connectors (you can stack them). It's important to use plumbing tape. The switch on both sides feels a little flimsy like they would break if I turn too hard. I also wish it was a little longer which would make it easier to turn on and off.

I got this splitter to be able to hook up an automatic irrigation hose and still be able to use the standard water hose at the same time. I have a soaker hose and timer, to water my flower garden, on one side, and just a normal watering hose, on the other. This 360° swivel connector is made of brass, and comes with the necessary washers. So far, it has not leaked, and works as advertised. Each side has an independent on and off valve. Installation was simple, as it fits all standard spigot faucets, and accepts all standard garden hoses. Again, fortunately, everything is working as I had hoped, and I'm pretty certain it will continue to do so.

Works very well. Easy to take on and off. Doesn’t stick.

This garden hose splitter does exactly what you would expect it to do! We have one faucet on the side of the house and this splitter lets us run two hoses — one to the back garden and the other to the front lawn. The quality is good. The splitter is heavy duty brass and not plastic, so should last. The spigots are easy to turn when you want to limit access to one hose or the other. The price is very good. This splitter should serve us well.

After adding a pressure washer to my pool equipment area, I'd run out of places to connect hoses. So it was time to get a splitter. I'd used other splitters in the past, and had mixed results, particularly with the cheap plastic type. This one is made of brass, and is appropriately heavy... they didn't skimp on the materials from what I can see. It's got a large, grippy knurled knob for connection to your garden hose outlet, and two plastic levers to turn the integral brass valves on and off. They're designed so a 90° movement will go from full off to full on, which is very convenient. Dry, the valve can be a little sticky, but this is a feature, and not a problem since it indicates a well-designed valve with tight tolerances. This bodes well for a long, drip-free life.I have to admit I was a bit concerned about the size of the outlet port (basically, the size of the hole drilled through the rotary valve. That ended up being a non-issue though. I tested the time it took to fill up a large garden pail with a large-diameter hose, with and without the splitter. Without, it took 12 seconds to fill up the pail. With the splitter inline it took 14 seconds - pretty negligible, though if you need absolutely full flow (like when you're filling up a swimming pool) you might want to bypass the splitter temporarily. All in all, a nice, solid, good-looking bit of hardware that looks like it should last for many, many years in my garden.

I needed a temporary watering setup while I do some repairs to an automatic watering system so I created a setup with a watering timer attached to a spigot, a leader hose to this Y, with two soaker hoses running from it.This is a sturdy hose Y that installed easily and doesn't leak, at least not yet. I've had it set up for a little over .a month now and so far, so good. I'm always wary about Ys with shutoffs, they always fail eventually and as much as I love the swivel where it attached to the spigot, they always eventually leak. My purpose is temporary so I went ahead and got this one, despite having both of those features. That said, this is a solidly built hose Y. The shutoffs move smoothly, as does the swivel and neither is sloppy. It seems to be of the same quality as ones in the hardware store at twice this price.
