I have always wanted one of these. 30 years into my gardening journey and I finally pick this one up!We tilled up and planted grass on all of our in-ground gardens because we were tired of the endless work....weeding, tilling, etc. This year we spent a bunch of time and money on building a garden of six raised beds. The kneeler/seat bench worked out to be the perfect height for working in our raised beds. The cloth pocket is extremely useful. We keep a number of things like labels, gardening tools, and plant clips. We leave the bench in the seat setup because that is how we use it, but switching to the kneeling position couldn't be easier. You simply turn the seat upside down! Storing the bench is super easy too, just pull the spring-loaded handle and it folds up into a small footprint. In Spring 2025, I will update this review with text and photos. I will be able to comment on how it holds up after a year of use, but so far, I believe it will last many years.I was happy to pay $50, but I see it is on sale for $30, hopefully you will see this review and grab one!

No assembly required, no pain in my knees when using, I love the seat option when needed and the tool pockets.

I am very pleased with this. Having used other garden kneelers/seats similar to this one I was amazed at the sturdy, strong build of this YPRNM item. Loved how I didn't have to assemble it too. I am 174 lbs., and this is the fist kneeler/bench of this design that I've had that didn't wobble at all. Rock solid. I doubt I'd use it to kneel on often but it's perfect for sitting in the garden when I'm tending to my raised beds. Great quality!

The foam is too hard for my knees and the knee height when using this device is too high for me when I am bending over to the ground.

I like that the YPRNM Garden Kneeler and Seat Bench is two tools in one. When you have a garden project that involves staying put in one area for a while...the seat is just the right height and semi cushy. When you need to be on your knees and get to weeding, for instance, this becomes a garden kneeler simply by flipping it over. The foam pads are just the right firmness...they give a little, but give great support for the knees. We do a lot of weeding in our "rock lawn" that has a lot of weed break through. Kneeling on your knees without some cushion was brutal. The handles extend above the pad when used as a kneeler and serve as rails to assist in getting down and up from the kneeling position. When used as a chair, the rails still extend up from the seat and help to position it and carry it around. The two side rails can be folded flat to the seats to make for a somewhat compact unit that is easier to store or hang. The hardest, most awkward part of this great item is the way the side rails fold. When the rails are out and locked in place, in order to fold them back, you have to grip a flat rail with your palm and pull in on a rod with your fingers. This causes two spring tensioned rails to come through the flat bar your palm is gripping...oft times poking yourself in the palm with those rails.

I'm using this as a work seat in the garden, and the seat cushion is comfortable enough. The legs are sturdy and the side pocket is a nice touch for garden tools. The legs fold on four hinge points, secured by pop rivets. One of the rivet heads was loose in the box when I opened it; it was probably sheared off in the factory. No problem: I can replace it with the right size nut, bolt and washer. Otherwise, it's a handy product and easy to fold up and store.

Already to go out the box! Nice. feels good. While doing a demonstration of using it I held the bars and lowered my knees onto the pad my right knee crushed through the backing of the pad. All the other parts are metal and strong.

Great combination of uses. When unfolded, I can sit to work on the garden instead of squatting to save my back.Flattening it out, it is comfortable for my knees when I need to get down lower, and it provides a layer to keep your knees from getting dirty/wet.The only minor issue was that the instructions weren't super clear on how to fold it back. You have to press the crossbar bar towards the bottom of the seat. The springs should have been a clue, but it would have been nice to have the visual in the instructions.
