I don’t know why there is negative reviews. I got this today and put it together in 5 minutes. Everything is snap and screw. 100 foot hose fits perfect as you can see in photo. I’m a window cleaner and I use hoses all day and needed something compacted. This is perfect!

Pretty small and weak. It doesn’t include the connecting hose but it is not indicated in the description. I ensemble and threw out the box, cannot return, so, I wasted my money.😡

This was the perfect hose management solution for me as I already bought a hose, but it was such a pain to clean up and transport after each usage. It's worth noting here also that this reel would only be good for a hose JUST long enough to wash a car, which was my criteria for getting my hose (I believe the spec on the listing 25m for 1/2"). I live in a complex with a community car washing station, so I needed a little standalone product that I could easily carry around and store, so something NOT wall mounted like this was ideal.It comes disassembled, but is easy enough to put together with the instructions. I would say it's similar to a basic/simple ikea product. The materials are lightweight, which is bonus since that makes it easier to carry around. It's also sturdy once assembled and the hand crank operates smoothly.The reel also comes with easy connect adaptors, which I was skeptical about at first, but after testing it once, I found them to be solid without any leaks. A lead in hose DOES need to be purchased separately, to use them however. While unfortunate, at this price point ($23 for me), I find this to be reasonable.I think the price point and quality are unmatched, even on amazon. The other contenders I had for this purchase were around $50. I went with this product because I saw the maker's other products also received good reviews.
