I’m an avid gardener and have been clearing areas of a farm of brambles, dock and nettles in very tough and stoney soil by hand. But this has worked a treat.I got through two fairly basic forks before turning to this one. The previous two made hard work of the heavy soil, constantly getting stuck and clogged up with the soil and stones, taking ages and extra effort to dig with. But this one is like a knife through butter digging into the soil. It’s perfect and really strong and well made too, I’ve not felt as though it’s weak at all.Maybe it is a little heavy like some other reviews have said - if I was a frail older person maybe I would struggle a bit lifting it constantly, but then I wouldn’t expect a frail old person to be digging through big tough patches of brambles. Plus if you want a sturdy garden fork then it probably would need to be a little heavy. The individual forks also act as little shovels too with the way they’re shaped. I’d really recommend.

Aerating soil, shoveling mulch, getting into rocky/compacted soil to loosen it a bit - this thing does it all and had help up SO well. I did bend one if the tines a bit overdoing it a bit, Everything has it's limits! I'm very impressed with this tool!Made doing 10 yards of mulch so easy.Handles my compacted, rocky dirt very well!
