Awesome apron for harvesting your garden! It enables you to have both of your hands-free for picking produce!* The straps on this apron are adjustable, criss-cross in the back and have waist support. This helps to distribute the weight of the produce, off your shoulders. I wear size 18 pants and I was able to adjust the straps of this apron to fit me.* Has lots of pockets. It has 3 little pockets for tools like clippers or small garden shovels. The black area on the front is also a larger pocket.* It has a huge main compartment/pocket for holding your produce. It is as big as a large bucket! The bottom of this pocket is held closed by two straps with clips. When you are ready to empty it into a box, you undue the clips and the produce will fall directly into the box.

I have been eyeing harvest aprons for several years, thinking how nice it would be not to have to drag bags and baskets along behind me as I harvest, and having my hands free to pick what was in front of me. Now, instead of stopping every few minutes to bend over and deposit handfuls in a container, I can stay upright and move much faster down the rows. I really put this thing to the test this year with a bumper crop of beans and it worked a treat! The apron itself is comfortable to wear, even when weighed down with something heavier such as cucumbers or corn. The support is balanced between shoulder and back with two continuous web straps. These cross at the back, then feed through plastic slides attached to the sides of the apron. They are fastened by an adjustable snap buckle. Because of this design feature, it is easy to readjust the apron as the weight in the front changes. The main pocket is very roomy and holds a surprising amount of produce. I love being able to unbuckle the bottom and let the contents slide out into a container. I didn’t have any issues with beans escaping the bottom flap when it was closed. The smaller pockets are bonus and handy for carrying shears, scissors, ties, etc. The only concern I have is how to effectively clean the fabric. Although the moisture shield between the body of the apron and the pocket can be wiped down with a wet cloth, the apron itself is made of canvas and will shrink if machine washed. It will most likely have to be spot cleaned. Even though I have only used this harvest apron for vegetables, it should work equally well for tree fruit, nuts, herbs or even flowers.

I had seen a similar apron used by a youtuber I watch, but the price was more than I wanted to pay. So after searching a bit, I found this one. I was worried that since it was cheaper it might itself be cheap quality. I was not disappointed. This apron is the same as the pricier one at a lesser cost. Wonderful quality, the fabric is very durable, easy to use and put on. I don’t have to carry a basket that might get heavy and hurt my arm. Really love this apron.

Better than other brands, but lemons still fell out the side.

I got this for my daughter in law. It’s very practical. She has various fruit trees and this works great. Hands free for picking then you unsnap the sides so you can empty your fruit.

I really like this gardening apron. It is very sturdy and well designed. It is made of a strong waterproof canvas material with a large harvesting pocket and two more small pockets for tools or a cell phone. There is also another pocket layer on the front bib of a thinner waterproof material. I like that it has crossed straps to distribute the wight of a heavier harvest. All the buckles used on the apron opened and closed smoothly and were sturdy. I had some concerns about how the bottom was just folded and held up by straps, but it works well. Nothing escaped the harvest pocket though I was collecting small items. I tried it also with a dozen lemons, but they were caught by the fold also. Not sure about heavier objects though. When I was ready to unload my harvest, I unclipped the buckles holding the bottom flap folded and everything came out beautifully into an awaiting container. The flap forms a kind of flexible lip that allows me to pour the items out in a controlled way. I did have some trouble using it on a ladder though, but that didn't really have anything to do with the bag. It was just hard to lean on the ladder for balance with the harvest bag in the way since it was a bit bulky and I didn't want to crush anything. Other than that, this bag is great. I love having both hands free for harvesting and not needing to reach for the container to drop off my harvest. I plan to buy more aprons for the gardeners in my family. Highly recommended.
