The strainer has holes too big for smaller seeds. However, it is easy to use. And there isn't a cover for it, but I used the other strainer as a lid.

Price is right. Each one holds a lot of sprouts. The mesh holes are small enough to support most seeds. 5 trays are more than enough.

Sturdy trays. The openings could be a little smaller but they were ok. I put a sheet of paper towel down before the seeds to help retain moisture around thre seed.

Got these a couple of weeks ago to see if I could swap the lettuce that dies by the time it gets home in Phoenix. Worked great, I've sprouted mixed sprouts and microgreens - both have come out great. Easy to clean and provides clear drainage for the sprouts.

the key is to have fully germinated seeds. I'm still learning. this was wheat grass. I didn't use dirt. next batch will have some.

Purchased to sprout a micro greens salad mix bought separately. The holes are too big and the seeds fall through to the tray below. Disappointed.Works great for sprouting lentils, and such for chickens. Can use for large seeds, beans, etc. Easy and great for that purpose. Lift tray and wet daily. Chickens are happy.
