I finally wanted to clean up my overly long NMEA 2000 cables under my dash. I thought the price was a ilttle crazy for what it was, but decided to go forward with it regardless. Now that i did it, i am very happy. I didn't realize hw much those bundled up wires took up room. I now have a much cleaner dash.

When connecting the cable from my GPS antenna mounted on my boat's T Top to my network backbone set up, I ran just short of cable. I could have bought a 2 meter cable for not much more money but needed less than a foot to finish the hookup. I chose the 1 ft cable for two reasons. Since I always want the strongest signal possible the shortest cable will help in achieving that since it has slightly less loss than one 6X longer. I also wanted the neatest connection job in my center console. I would have had a coil of the excess cable with the 2m cable and would have had to find a good place to mount it. The 1 ft cable was just right with a straight shot from the entry point to the network.It works fine.
