Used this to install a dash cam on my 2020 CX-5 Grand Touring model. Works great. Connector tucks away in shroud and connector is long enough to reach wherever you want to place your dashcam. Mine is to the right on the passenger side. Also the voltage meter is a nice touch and works great as well. Recommend!

The scariest part was taking off the plastic crab shell trim. Just had to pull the left piece to the side rather than down and it came off super easy.The product itself was super easy to install. Plug and play in the 2025 Mazda 3 Hatchback. It works super well with our Vantrue Dashcam. Turns on and off with the car.

Product ordered from the UK and arrived in 6 days. It was a bit fiddly removing the mirror casing but once off the connection was easy and worked straight away. Not a lot of space to hold the wiring and connectors but using a bit of double sided tape. It all fitted. Shame Mazda don’t have a switched fuse in the CX30 cabin but this overcomes the problem with a neat install

I used this to wire up a dashcam to a 2024 Mazda CX-30. It came with everything shown, but also had a little voltage meter you can use to verify voltage which was nice. The included instructions don't show how to install it into a specific vehicle, so it took me a little bit to figure out: Once you seperate the existing electrical connector to the mirror, a tiny screwdriver (not provided) slides into a tiny hole in the top rear of the mirror's female connector to allow it to be slid off the bracket that holds it up. Then you connect the connectors in this product (thus wiring it in) and use this product's female connector to hold the other connector up against the back of the mirror's bracket to keep it out of the way. Slide the female connector from this product into the bracket that was holding the mirror's connector, and this will keep the other connector against the mirror bracket. Make sure the wires in this product's connector (which will be bent into a U shape) are not extending past any of the flat sides of the bracket assemblies. As for the USB connector, that has to be as far back as possible, "behind" (closest to the rear of the car) the box that says "do not drop". Then, the USB connector needs to be routed through the bracket that is in the very front (closest to the front of the car) such that it is being held against the windshield. You have to position all these products this way otherwise you will not be able to reattach the two halves of the covering assembly.

Got in touch with Anna before buying the product and they helped me get the perfect adapter according to my need and the biggest thing was they customized it for me as I needed 2 for dashcam and 1 for radar they shipped me the radar 3.5V cable.

Power adapter works good with one issue which may be the fault of my 2025 CX-5 Premium Plus and not the adapter. When the car engine starts after I-Stop the adapter loses power and my Viofo A229 restarts. Might be the car, might be wrong wire used in the wiring harness.

I was skeptical at first since it came with something not pictured here. (the volts displaying piece) Which is totally unnecessary. Other than that, it was very easy to set up on my Mazda CX5 2025.

Con: They originally sent me a product that didn't work for my vehicle (even though it's one of the described Mazdas). But customer service was helpful and sent a replacement that worked.Pro: The replacement worked perfectly plug and play to connect my dash camera to my rear view mirror. No issues.
