This is about as fancy as you'll need to have some fun out there does a great job .. detects deep into the ground found am item ten inches in no gold yet but have only owned for a week and a half but amazing product so far

I'm new and inexperienced and love it. Treasures abound.. Well maybe not treasures but I've used it with great ease and never used one before. I do recommend the Garrett youtube channel.Also, I'm not sure I got the Headphones. As excited as i was to get the package, 6mos later I don't think I got the head phones

Lightweight yet durable and very comfortable to use. Headphones are comfy and adjustable. Good instructions for assembly (minimal) as well for use in setting controls and looking for treasure. Great sensitivity adjustment. Accuracy will come with use.

Very well designed, easy to assemble (no tools required) and easy to use. Very professional and I would recommend it for both novice and experienced people interested in hunting for metals. I bench tested at home and it preformed great in terms of sensitivity, selectivity and pinpoint accuracy. We bought this for our son.. so I'm unable to review it personally.But I do know he is extremely happy with it, how light it is to carry and how accurate it is. I have used it a couple of times myself.. for the fun of it ... and the pointer... very easy to handle & very portable to carry long distances. Excellent, hassle free purchase .. Awesome service. Arrived in New Zealand within the specified time frame they said it would be there. Would purchase from Amazon again.

This machine puts my bounty hunter lone star pro to shame there is a large difference in pricing but it is completely worth every penny. I would buy this time and time again. Anyone looking to enhance their all around detecting experience I highly recommend this machine very simple to use and with highly detailed owners manual and DVD. The AT pinpointer is amazing as well this bundle is completely amazing. I've only used it about an hour so far and already for 5 coins in the same area I've been using my bounty hunter. Very happy with the results. Happy Digging!!

there's nothing to dislike about this metal detector, its just amazing, powerful and perfectly well made, my first detector was the Garrett ACE 300, i advanced to this one , now my second metal detector in 5 months , , it is so accurate , ,i love this whole package deal,

The Garrett AT gold is very well designed and built. Love the ability to distinguish different targets and discriminate out iron. Tried it out in my front yard and dug targets that were anywhere from 2" to 10" deep. The iron audio function is a lifesaver, you only dig the good stuff with this machine. Would definitely buy again. Installing the larger 8.5x11 coil also gives a little more depth as well as more scanning coverage
