There are a lot of choices of spouts. Only one fit, gues that was enough.

The caps on my 15 year-old plastic 5 gallon gas cans had cracked over the years - the cans were fine, but the caps had broken or were missing. So, I recently ordered this Spacemart Gas Can Spout Replacement Kit (3-Pack), and could not be more pleased with the quality and thoughtful design of these nozzles. If you are looking for a reliable solution for pouring gas or oil from your cans, this product is definitely worth considering. The nozzles are made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which is durable and built to withstand repeated exposure to gasoline and other fuels without cracking or breaking. The tight seal these nozzles provide is excellent. The threaded fitting attaches securely to my gas cans and provides a leak-proof seal during both pouring and transport. This has eliminated any concerns I had about spills or leaks, making for a much cleaner fueling process. One feature I especially appreciate is the retractable, bendable design. These nozzles make it incredibly easy to pour gas into tight spaces or containers with difficult angles, whether I’m refueling my lawnmower, generator, or car with its inset refueling port. The flexibility of the spout allows for precise control, and when I’m finished, it can be bent back and retracted into the can for storage. Perfect! What really sets this kit apart is the inclusion of vent caps. My 5-gallon gas cans did not originally come with vent caps, so I was thrilled to find that Spacemart includes three vent caps along with a drill bit for easy installation. The vent cap allows air to flow into the can while the fuel is pouring out, preventing that annoying vacuum backup that causes intermittent gurgling during refueling. This makes the pouring process much smoother and faster.Overall, this is a very well-made and convenient product that I highly recommend. The Spacemart Gas Can Spout Replacement Kit not only provides a superior nozzle design but also addresses the common issue of vacuum backup by including vent caps. For anyone in need of a versatile and reliable gas can spout, this kit is a great solution.

I was so excited to get these because I have a gas can with one of those impossible to pour non-spill EPA spouts. I went to put one on my gas can and realized it's TOO SMALL! I would never have imagined that these wouldn't even come close to fitting since they're advertised as; 'This 3-pack of flexible pour nozzles fits most 1/2, 1, 5, and 10 gallon gas and oil cans'.So obviously this was my mistake? So now I have three spouts with all of the fittings, gaskets etc with no can to put them on.It should state on the listing DOES NOT FIT GAS CANS WITH NON-SPILL TYPE NOZZLES.They look great otherwise.

I was just about to replace an old gas can with a new one, because the nozzle was all gummed up and no longer worked properly. New gas cans sold around here all have these "safety" spouts which over time all seem to get gummed up and stop working. This replacement kit has simple, old school nozzles with no moving parts or springs like the new ones and they just work! Saved my from buying an $18 replacement can, when the only thing wrong with the old one was the nozzle. The replacement nozzles provided are flexible and long enough to bend properly to fill all of my outdoor power equipment without spilling.

I have an old plastic gas can with a 'safety spout' that is a genuine pain to use. Consequently it's sat in the barn for a few years, only to be used when absolutely necessary. As you can see, it's pretty dirty.I've thought about getting a spout replacement for some time, and when I saw this one available on Vine, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised. The kit is enough for three fuel cans, including vents, a drill bit, and instructions that are better than average. So the dirty old plastic gas can became my test subject. I figured that if it didn't work, I wasn't out too much.Having watched a youtube video on another spout replacement, I took the advice offered there and drilled a smaller pilot hole for the vent, then used the larger bit included with the spouts. It worked well. And the vent fits, tightly. It took a bit of pressure to get it into the hole. It feels secure. When I forgot to open it during the leak test, it was obvious that the can wasn't venting. So it effectively plugged the vent hole. Once open, the gas poured freely. But I'm getting ahead of myself. There are fine and coarse threaded collars for the spouts. This particular gas can has a coarse thread. It took some doing to tighten it all the way down, to the point where the spout was not able to rotate. I was afraid that it wouldn't go all the way, but it did. The plastic is of sufficient weight that I think it will hold up well. There was half a gallon of gas in the can, which I dumped into one of the trucks on the farm. I poured it slowly, and there were no signs of a leak. Pretty impressive.Based on my experience, I feel comfortable recommending this product. At $14, it seems quite reasonable.
